The Canon Pixma MP210 is an all-in-one printer built to print, copy and scan quickly, with professional results. This budget unit, however, doesn’t have advanced copy and scanning options (i.e., resizing; image repeat; N-up copies), memory card slots and fax capability. The good news is that a front-mounted USB port allows you to connect PictBridge devices such as digital cameras or cell phones for PC-free printing. For added convenience, a 100-sheet feed tray folds out from the rear and a panel on the front folds down to become the output tray. The control panel includes a green LED to show the number of copies and maintenance options, and eight control buttons (for choosing the type of paper, stopping a printing job, etc). And with the Pixma MP210’s fast printing speeds – up to 22 ppm black and 17 ppm for colour – you can get your work done at less time. What’s more, Canon has added a new feature called Auto Image Fix to its MP Navigator EX software, to help you make ‘enhancements’ to images. Also, the device delivers high-quality scans up to 600dpi with a vibrant 48-bit colour depth.
The Pixma MP210 uses a black cartridge and a tri-colour one, and these can be either standard or large capacity tanks. ClickInks offers remanufactured ink cartridges for use with your Canon MP210 printer. These cartridges contain the same amount of ink as the Canon brand and print the same number of pages – at less cost.
